The Township of Havelock Belmont Methuen is a thriving community, situated at the eastern end of the County of Peterborough. We are home to a wide variety of commercial, industrial and tourism businesses. Most of our economy stems from the tourist industry, due to the large number of lakes, rivers and streams we have in our township.

The Township of Havelock Belmont Methuen has partnered with the Township Revitalization Improvement Project (T.R.I.P.) Committee to help promote the economic development of the township. The T.R.I.P. Committee’s objectives are:

• Enhance local pride and instill a sense of belonging
• Stimulate the local and regional economy
• Empower and involve the local citizenry
• Develop the social and cultural life of the area
