Burning Regulations
There is no daytime burning allowed without a permit. Burn times that do not require a permit are: no earlier than 2 hours prior to sunset (approximately 6:00 pm) and extinguished no later than 2 hours after sunrise approximately 8:00am).
- SMALL CAMP FIRES ONLY!
- Burning is not permitted in built up areas where there are buildings with less than 75 feet between them
- Fire Season runs from April 1 to October 1.
- Listen to the radio, watch newspapers or posted signs for fire bans and fire conditions.
- Never Burn When it’s WINDY!
Burn Permits are available at the Fire Department Office during regular business hours.
