rural community at the southeast corner of the County
of Peterborough, providing services to both permanent
and seasonal residents.
Surrounded by scenic lakes and rivers, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen
offers a host of activities for outdoor enthusiasts, therefore,
tourism accounting for a large part of our economy, and surrounding
farmlands being another integral and historical part of our area.
The permanent population of 4100 is augmented, on a year round
basis by our seasonal residents at a population of 6200. Our pursuit
of excellent service delivery and co-operative partnerships, enhance
the quality of life in our harmonious community.
